Observation is an act of patience.
I don’t look for spectacle. I’m interested in the ordinary moments that reveal something universal. A glance, an unexpected juxtaposition, a shaft of light, or a detail that most people pass without noticing. These photographs are a record of looking carefully, and of finding meaning in the everyday.
